Carol has set herself apart as a professional dedicated to enhancing her knowledge and experience in the design industry. She holds a Masters in Fine Arts (MFA) degree, Interior Design Certificate and Kitchen & Bath Certificate, is trained in 20/20 CAD Design, and, most importantly, has completed the NKBA certification exam to merit her CKD (Certified Kitchen Designer) designation. An advocate of continuing education, she travels to attend educational programs and events throughout the year that keep her inventive and connected with design today.
How long have you been in the industry?
Carol grew up in a family of builders and architects, so blueprints were always a part of her life, and her own background as an artist brings out her creative side. Her experience in advertising and as a teacher has developed her listening and communication skills. The key to a successful remodeling project is communication and planning. She has over 15 years of experience as a Kitchen Designer in the Bay Area, with over 500 projects that stretch from Tahoe to Torrance.
What makes for good design in your opinion?
As the heart and soul of the KB Cabinets showroom, she offers the elements that will bring any project to completion. Specially trained in Cabinetry Design, Carol will take the time to understand ergonomic needs to make sure that the cabinetry design fits the family’s needs. “It’s all in the details,” she says.
