Xavier Fan

This was the design team’s second lower level bar project for this homeowner. They are huge sports fans and have a deep love for Xavier! They wanted the space to feel like a sports bar with warm stained cabinetry from Showplace. Two different stains were used to add a level of character to the room.

Their favorite team was incorporated into the bar at their previous residence and they loved it so much they wanted to do it again in this one. The owners have a plethora of sports memorabilia and wanted to display as much as possible in the book cases of their new space. Amongst their many treasures is the large metal “X” that is displayed and backlit on the wood paneled wall. This was a gift from one-time basketball coach, Chris Mack.

This project won First Place in the Non-Paint category of the 2022 Design Contest.
