The homeowners of this tri-level 1983 home wanted to open up a small dark kitchen and dining room to create a large kitchen for entertaining and large family gatherings. They asked for a highly organized space and direct access to the patio. Additional seating for the island and other areas was required to accommodate guests and relaxing.
The homeowners love blue, so Hale Navy cabinets, granite with blue veining, and a navy blue composite sink were incorporated into the island. Pure White perimeter cabinets contribute to a light and bright entertainer’s kitchen while interior organization components provide ample storage.
The openness and direct access to the patio from the kitchen lends to easily accommodating their large family yet be a part of the group instead of being closed off from guests during food preparation. The convenience of the mixer lift, spice drawers, and the food storage container organizer are a dream for any chef. And the convenience of the extra storage below the island and within the pantry cabinets makes this kitchen perfect for these owners. They say it makes entertaining so easy, so it’s their Entertainer’s Dream!
