The Pampered Pup Corner

What began as a mudroom concept during a luxury fix-and-flip quickly evolved into one of the most memorable spaces in the home, a dedicated dog room. Thanks to an extra-deep garage, the design team was able to wall off the back portion and create a fully functional area. Midway through the project, the future homeowner asked if the space could be customized for her dogs, and the design pivot was an easy yes.

The finished dog room is both stylish and highly practical, featuring a doggie door for easy outdoor access, a built-in feeding station, hidden trash storage, a refrigerator, and even a pot filler for convenient water bowl refills. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to support daily routines while keeping the space polished and cohesive with the rest of the home. It’s proof that functional design can still be fun, and that great design should work for every member of the family, paws included.
