A Tailored Kitchen Story

After more than a year of collaboration and refining every detail, construction on this kitchen began in February 2024. The layout remained largely the same, but the focus was on elevating convenience, craftsmanship, and customization within the existing footprint.

Finish selections were thoughtfully curated over months of back-and-forth to ensure every element felt just right. The perimeter cabinetry is finished in Maple Cashew, bringing warmth and softness to the space, while the island features a custom paint color, “Fawn Brindle” (SW7640), inspired by a magazine image the homeowner fell in love with. Though not a standard option, custom selections allowed us to bring their exact vision to life.

Antique brass hardware pairs beautifully with the warm neutrals, complemented by brass metal sleeves at the base of the island’s square legs; a subtle but intentional detail that ties the design together. Natural stone countertops and backsplash add organic movement and timeless elegance.

The attention to detail throughout the space is what truly sets it apart:

  • Mirrors behind the dry bar and inside the glass cabinets reflect the outdoor views across the room, amplifying light and depth.
  • Wall cabinets with clear glass on the front, sides, and shelves allow light to pass through in all directions.
  • A mix of floating shelves and glass-top doors provides space to display treasured art and décor.
  • Panel-front appliances maintain a seamless, wood-forward aesthetic.
  • A lift-up appliance pocket door conceals the coffee station when not in use.
  • Custom drawers and roll trays, including top compartments designed as doors rather than drawers, provide precise, tailored organization in the dry bar area.

Collaboration with a trusted carpenter who shares a passion for precision ensured every detail was executed flawlessly. The flexibility to submit custom drawings and selections made it possible to achieve exactly what the homeowners envisioned.

The result is a warm, neutral kitchen layered with thoughtful design and refined craftsmanship. The clients are absolutely thrilled, and this space truly is a showstopper.
