Double the Place to Hang

With an empty nest, the homeowners sought to rejuvenate their 20-year-old kitchen, the heart of their gatherings. A desire for more than a mere update led to an expansion, doubling the kitchen’s footprint. The renovation not only enhanced space but also revamped a modest wet bar and extended the patio.

Gone is the old built-in pantry, replaced by convenient full-size roll-out cabinets, a homeowner favorite. Opting for a sleek black and white palette, the design journey explored darker tones, elegant brass accents, and captivating hex tiles, resulting in a chic matte black island and bar. Dramatic pendant lights illuminate the space, making a statement above the island. The transformation exceeded expectations, delivering a spacious, stylish kitchen for both gathering and culinary creations.
