Blue Kitchen

The homeowners enjoy cooking and they frequently host and entertain. They desired a functional kitchen with abundant storage and a casual, yet elegant, feel that could meet all of their entertaining needs. With a new, bright, open floor plan, the homeowners wanted the style of their home, and especially their kitchen, to be a fresh, more modern take on their typically more-traditional style.

While keeping the navy cabinets the ‘star’ of the kitchen, a few subtleties were added to keep the color from becoming too overwhelming in a kitchen of this size. The team purposely selected more toned down materials such as the white range hood, white subway backsplash, and solid white quartz countertops. They also added some beautiful decorative glass panels in the bar area.

The homeowners love the truly unique look and feel of their new space!

This kitchen won Honorable Mention in the Transitional Kitchen category of our 2019 Design Contest.
