Double Vision

The original kitchen was separated from the living room. The homeowners wanted to open up the space and join the kitchen and the living area into one big open floorplan. They were in good hands with the flexible and expansive product offering of Showplace Cabinetry and the design expertise of Cornerstone Cabinets & Design, Inc. in Forest, VA.

The space was long and narrow with openings that were structurally immovable, constricting the cabinet layout. This challenge was overcome by creating a kitchen layout with two islands to allow for extra storage and seating for guests. The homeowners absolutely love the double island feature. They can now see the outdoor view while enjoying their beautiful kitchen view.
