Grand with a Touch of Glam
The 1980s kitchen in this spacious home needed a major overhaul. The homeowners desired a more functional and inviting space for entertaining. To achieve this, a supporting wall between the kitchen and dining room was removed, necessitating the installation of a sixteen-foot steel beam. By converting the old dining space’s buffet bump-out, a designated area for a 48″ range top and hood was created.
The rectangular island now serves as a focal point, offering ample seating, storage, and essential appliances. The open floor plan boasts sleek finishes, deep midnight blue walls, white cabinets, light gray quartz, and brushed gold hardware. The stunning hombre tile complements the chimney-style range hood, while glamorous light fixtures add sparkle. This transformed kitchen is perfect for gathering with loved ones, striking a balance between drama and classic elegance.
