Laundry Butler Pantry

The existing laundry room was to be transformed into a multifunctional space. The goal for the room was to function not only as a laundry room, but also a mud room and butler pantry. The clients wanted the space to be a modernized extension of the kitchen for when they entertain.

To achieve a connection with the kitchen, the same door style was used, but in the ShowplaceEVO frameless line to be mindful of the budget. The mud bench seat and corbels are in the same finish as the kitchen island. And to create a modern take on the space, the Smokey Blue paint was chosen as a fun twist to create some character. The fillers and panels were pulled flush with the doors and drawer fronts to give the illusion of a simple clean, almost inset look. The kitchen is inset so this allowed the space to keep the same look while using a different construction.

The homeowners love how the space is multifunction without breaking the bank. The ShowplaceEVO cabinet line allowed for maximum storage in the space and with Showplace customization, every inch of the room was used.

The Smokey Blue paint was the perfect color to tie all the interior selections together. The wallpaper, striped tile floor and hickory Dusk bench were features used to tie the design together perfectly.
