Moody MidMod
This sleek, modern kitchen was designed to meet a unique challenge: the homeowners requested a space with no upper cabinets, maximum storage, and a clean, clutter-free aesthetic. The solution involved using tall cabinetry to define distinct kitchen zones and paneling the walls between open shelves in rich natural walnut. This clever design choice created a horizontal visual flow that balances the open shelving with warmth and cohesion.
Light countertops on the perimeter cabinetry extend seamlessly as a backsplash, adding brightness and texture, while the bold black-and-white island top serves as a striking centerpiece. Integrated lighting highlights the open shelving and vaulted ceiling, which was enhanced with drywall between the beams and ceiling lights for added illumination.
The remarkable transformation delivers modern elegance and practicality without structural changes, making it a standout project.
