Moroccan-Inspired Mini Kitchen
The inspiration for this kitchen started with one bold choice: the wall tile. From there, the entire space was designed to reflect the homeowner’s love of color and create a kitchen she’d genuinely smile walking into each day.
To balance the vibrant “happy blue” Showplace Naval cabinetry without overwhelming the compact footprint, white upper cabinets were selected. This allowed the tile to shine as the unifying element, tying the kitchen seamlessly into the rest of the home. A thoughtfully designed pass-through connects the kitchen to the living room, doubling as a casual eating area while improving flow and functionality.
Working within a small space—with two doorways, an offset window, and a main walkway—required creative problem-solving. Smart storage solutions made all the difference, including a tall pantry with roll trays, a refrigerator panel to achieve a built-in look, a blind magic corner, pull-out utensil organizers, cutlery dividers, a spice pull-down cabinet, and built-in shelving above the range with a low-profile blower.
Despite its size, this kitchen delivers efficiency, personality, and a truly custom feel. The result is a bright, happy space that proves bold color and smart design can completely transform even the most challenging layouts.
