Naval Cove

This lakefront kitchen was reimagined to feel lighter, brighter, and far more functional—perfectly suited for everyday living and easy entertaining by the water. One of the priorities was improving flow and countertop space, which meant closing off a hallway door and relocating the refrigerator. These changes instantly made the kitchen feel more open and usable.

Continuity was key, so new flooring was installed throughout the entire first floor, visually tying all the spaces together. Updated cabinetry replaced the original lower-quality cabinets, delivering much-needed storage and a clean, modern foundation for the room. The overall design leans into a fresh coastal aesthetic—airy, welcoming, and relaxed.

While the project presented a few unexpected challenges, including a redesigned layout due to a load-bearing wall and a full door replacement to ensure flawless cabinetry, everything was resolved seamlessly. The result is a kitchen that checks every box on the homeowners’ wish list and feels perfectly suited for lakefront living.
