Observatory Kitchen

The homeowners wanted to open up the first floor without losing any of the old charm of their Tudor style home. They were big on symmetry but also wanted their kitchen to be extremely functional. Showplace Inset cabinetry was chosen for this kitchen design to keep with the traditional look of the home.

Everything started to work around the new arched opening from the foyer to the kitchen, which is centered on the existing windows above the sink. The owners love how their new kitchen functions for everyday use, as well as for larger gatherings. The appliances are integrated into the design. The flush inset refrigerator and dishwasher panels, and the minimalist cooktop design enabled the design team to maintain the character and traditional style.
