Regency Retreat
After downsizing from a two-story home to single-story living, these homeowners set out to completely reimagine their brick ranch. What was once a child’s bedroom is now a luxurious and highly personalized master bathroom and laundry combination, designed to blend function, beauty, and individuality.
Key priorities included coordinating cabinetry with a bold wallpaper, concealing the laundry, maximizing hidden storage, and creating a dedicated display for the client’s unique handbag collection. The result is a space that seamlessly blends vintage Regency-era inspiration with classic Southern charm.
A custom color-matched paint, developed specifically to complement the wallpaper, sets the tone for the design. Hidden laundry is achieved through a walk-through pantry cabinet with custom pocket door hardware, allowing the washer and dryer to disappear when not in use. Thoughtfully designed storage incorporates a mix of doors, drawers, and roll-outs, while minimal seams keep the focus on elegant details like door beading and chamfered corners.
Glass-front cabinetry with interior lighting provides the perfect showcase for the client’s handbag collection, adding both personality and polish. The finished space checks every box on the wish list and delivers a one-of-a-kind retreat that feels as special as it is functional.
