Small but Mighty

The homeowner had a typical tiny galley with peninsula, and wanted to open up the space and add countertop workspace and storage. There were several openings for windows and walkway clearances that made it difficult to get a lot of wall space for cabinetry. To work around that, the cabinets were design to go to the ceiling and an an existing hallway closet was transformed into a pantry.

The homeowner loves all of the extra counter space and added storage from the buffet/ coffee bar area. The soft color palette warms up the space and feels cozy.

This kitchen won Honorable Mention in the Small Kitchen category of our 2021 Design Contest.
