Two Tone Transformation

The homeowner’s original kitchen was confined, dated, and dark. The design team opened up the space by replacing the peninsula and upper cabinets with an island and recommended a two-tone color scheme: Edgewater door style with Smokey Blue on the perimeter and Russet on Rustic Alder for the island. Removing the dropped ceiling and adding LED lighting gave the kitchen a larger, brighter appearance. New quartz countertops, a coordinated backsplash, and brushed nickel pulls completed the modern look.
