Walnut Wonder

Just because a kitchen is small, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t have wow factor! The homeowners wanted to coordinate their original trim throughout their home while updating the kitchen space so that it felt complete and a part of the original. The footprint of the home changed but the modern features of this kitchen using Showplace accessories and design ease made this such a user-friendly room to work in. A challenge was picking a wood and stain that worked well but was not too dark. Originally choosing the Tawny stain on Rustic Alder, the homeowners made a last-minute change to walnut Natural…and what a great choice. Just the right tones to highlight the different shades of wood throughout the home.
