Designed for Guests

The homeowner wanted to have a special, open kitchen space where she can have extended family gather together for good food and quality conversation. She needed to have plenty of storage for all her gadgets and other items.

A two-tone hood was a must, with the bottom apron matching the island. A special walk-in pantry that connects the kitchen to the dining room was included for easy access to everything she needs to entertain. She wanted to have cabinet space for dinnerware that is on display and can be easily accessed by guests. A bar area was also added in the adjacent family room with the same door style but different finish to complete the guest-focused design.
