Ski House Hideaway

The homeowners wanted the ultimate kitchen for relaxing with friends from the city. Plenty of seating was paramount, in addition to a wine fridge, a coffee space, pantry and a TV. They wanted a relaxed finish for the cabinetry to match the relaxed vibe of a ski home. They decided to use the simple look of the Pierce door style finished in the calming Light Mocha paint for the perimeter and an island featuring the beauty of rustic hickory in a natural finish as a focal point.

To add as much functionality as possible to the island without taking away from the beauty of the hickory, dual dishwashers were hidden with custom doors designed to look like drawers so the island could look like it was comprised of all drawers. The client couldn’t be more thrilled with the end result!
