More Than Meets the Eye
The goal of this kitchen design was to deliver a highly functional, modern space layered with sleek sophistication and subtle glamour. Thoughtful storage solutions were a top priority, including larger drawers and discreet cabinetry designed to conceal small appliances, a coffee machine, and a microwave, keeping the space clean, organized, and visually streamlined.
One of the most complex and striking elements is the custom pull-out table integrated directly into the island. Crafted on site from Walnut finished in Sparrow stain, the table measures 18” deep and an impressive 96” wide. Positioned between the island’s wall base cabinets and the quartz countertop, it slides out effortlessly when entertaining, offering additional workspace or casual seating without compromising the island’s clean lines.
The kitchen is anchored by a custom hood constructed from ¾” walnut wood strips with Sparrow stain and finished with black crown detailing, creating a bold focal point that ties seamlessly into the cabinetry. Complementing the island are a walnut hutch and two hidden coffee bars with roll-back doors—one of the homeowners’ favorite features—blending convenience with elegant design.
A carefully curated palette of Oyster paint, black accents, Walnut with Sparrow stain, and touches of gold creates a balanced mix of modern refinement and warmth. The result is a kitchen that feels elevated yet inviting, where every detail serves both beauty and function.
