Bigger, Better Gatherings
When a kitchen feels out of sync with the rest of the home, it shows, and in this case, it was holding back both function and flow. By expanding the space 70 square feet into the garage and outdoor porch, this remodel completely reimagined how the kitchen lives and works.
Now, the layout feels balanced, open, and ready for anything—from everyday meals to hosting clients and guests with ease. A generous island anchors the space, offering plenty of room for seating, conversation, and multitasking. Whether it’s morning coffee from the built-in Miele coffee maker or an evening of entertaining, this kitchen rises to the occasion.
One of the biggest challenges was ensuring the addition felt seamless—and not like an add-on. Thoughtful design and careful execution made that possible, blending old and new into one cohesive space.
Inset cabinetry in white oak, finished with a Vita brushed oat glaze, brings warmth and sophistication while serving as a true focal point. The result is a kitchen that not only fits the home, it elevates it.
