Southern Warmth
This 1958 kitchen got a fresh new life, without losing its soul. Inspired by Southwestern style, the design blends terra-cotta tones, warm wood cabinetry, and hand-painted accents with the home’s original architectural charm. Removing the room divider between the kitchen and dining area opened up the space, creating better flow, while clever storage solutions, like a pantry with pull-out spice racks, toe-kick drawers, and a blind corner cabinet, make sure nothing was lost in the process.
Textured glass cabinet doors add just the right amount of contrast, while quarter-sawn white oak cabinetry in a warm Pampas stain ties everything together. The result is a kitchen that feels both nostalgic and new, that is full of warmth, character, and everyday functionality.
