Gathering in Georgetown
The vision to transform the closed off kitchen space was to open it up to the living and dining areas for an expansive floor plan worthy of the many large gatherings planned for this home. The homeowners also wanted to stay with a theme of black, white and gold accents throughout.
When the walls were removed between the kitchen and dining room, a lot of cabinet space was lost. The design team was able to make up for this by adding two islands for additional counter and storage space.
The owners love how much the team was able to open everything up. They also love the classic black and white cabinets with the dramatic quartz countertops and backsplash.
