From Paul’s Desk
By Paul Sova, CEO of Showplace Cabinetry
Another year is nearly gone, and here at Showplace Cabinetry we have a number of reasons to celebrate. We’re finishing the year in full swing as we work hard to craft kitchens and bath cabinetry for homes like yours all across the country. We’re maintaining our commitment to quick turn-around, rigorous quality control and on-trend design—and our employee-owners are excited about another great year at Showplace.
The family spirit that drives Showplace sets this company apart in the marketplace—and helps us connect with cabinet shoppers. The holidays are a great time to celebrate the Showplace family, and we do just that! Santa comes for a visit to our plant and 150 children of our employee-owners go home from that visit with an extra Christmas gift. The week before Christmas, our cafeteria serves a prime rib dinner and our annual holiday bonus makes this season more jolly for Showplace families.
It’s all part of what we think makes our company different—and helps our employee-owners feel differently about each day on the job. In addition to our wellness center and our health-conscious cafeteria, Showplace brings a physicians assistant to our plant twice a week for the convenience of our people. Appointments can be made during the workday to help maintain wellness—a major consideration during cold and flu season!
This is a great time of year to remember those details which contribute to a company culture—a culture of caring. Showplace is proud of the large number of people who have chosen this company as the place to build a career. Their years on the job and their commitment to quality, service and sharing their knowledge with new employees make a genuine difference in the cabinetry we craft here in South Dakota.
As the Showplace family celebrates the end of another great year, we’d like to share season’s greetings and send our best wishes to you and your family for a healthy and happy 2020!
